Instructions
PoLA needs as input the nitrogen adsorption isotherm (at 77 K) of the material of interest (please note that only amorphous carbons ca n be described currently.
You can upload (in this page) the isotherm as an ASCII file containing two columns, i.e. the values of P/P0 (up to 1) and the excess N2 uptake, either in mol/g or in cc(STP)/g (choosing the units in the menu).
The conversion factor used here is 1 cc(STP) = 4.032 10-5 mol.
In the isotherm files all lines starting with “#” are considered comments and not read.
The output consists in a folder containing:
1) a text file (Texture.txt) with the analysis of porosity;
2 ) the V(MinD), also in the cumulative and simplified forms, provided both as pictures (.png) and as text files (.txt);
3) the predicted H2 excess adsorption isotherm at 77 K, both as picture and as text file.
